First Piano Lessons
My daughter has been doing well on these books. She is five and is starting to be able to follow a beat. These books make it fun too with their "characters" and the phone app that goes along with the books. Using them with my younger son also to play around on since he wants to be like his bigger sister.

Really cute books. My kids are really enjoying learning piano with this series and enjoy the music that comes along with it (we use the free audio online but the main book also comes with a CD). Very active and a lot more fun than another book we used. She is a very early beginner so it will be interesting to see how this book progresses compared to the one my son used. He made a lot of progress in the book he used but this one is definitely more fun.
Great piano lesson books! Challenging on each level, from Primer to Advanced
I really enjoy teaching with the Faber books in addition to other methods I use. No matter what the level, this series focuses on getting my students to read their music more quickly. There's a strong base in music theory and I find my students play from the grand staff a bit more quickly. The pieces tend to have a bit more challenge to them, depending on level, and I've seen very good results using these books. From lesson books to theory and technique and great solo pieces, I recommend these as a piano teacher.
The right book for the right student.
I’ve used these books off and on for several years. Sometimes I feel it goes to slowly, sometimes too fast. You have to fit the book to the student. I have other books I use with other young students as well.
Good for kids
I think it is over priced. It will be better if seller can lower the price. Overall is good. I thought it for my nephew. It is good piano practice book for kids. The patio lectures used it as well. I would recommend to kids who start learning piano.
Good skills taught, but not my preferred method
I bought this for my 5 yr old, and while it does cover basic skills for piano, it requires a lot of adult assistance.
Gret book, clear instructions, kids love it!
I really like it. My 7 year old is doing great with a friend of mine teaching her using these books, along with the lesson book and CD. You definitely need the CD or you would be lost. I have no Piano skills and the instructions are clear enough I can help her when she becomes stuck on a section!

This is the second time we have a child going through the Faber piano books. They do a great job of combining theory with practice and not moving so quickly as to overwhelm.
Easy to understand
Easy to understand, my kids only 5 and he can follow the instructions all by himself without help.
Great Book
This has been a great book for my littles piano lessons! It has a really great variety of fun activities to enhance learning.
