I do not have any dislikes on this GE MWF water filter Smartwater compatible cartridge-By Pure Line (3Pack) I have used these filters for over a year the company is based in New York and I have looked up on the web sites of the safety and water quality and has passed the tests of all qualifications. It is made in China but is still a quality product at a reduced price. The Pure Line company has a great customer service I had a defected one when I ordered two and the water came out slow. The company shipped me two for the defected one that is what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thanks, Pure Line and the water taste so good.

So glad I saw these and purchased all 3 for less than the cost of one OEM filter. Installed easily in seconds and after initial spurting (they tell you about this) this bad boy is working great! Water flow is back up to speed and good taste is back! No complaints.

I have a GE fridge that had a GE smartwater MWF filter, bought these because of the price 3 for $50 rather then just 1 for $50. Super easy to install and fit perfectly. No leaks so far. :) one picture is of the filter we replaced, and the other picture is the new filter installed.

Filters arrived as promised. I replaced the old one with the compatible water filter. Installation went well, no drips or leaks. I ran water from the water dispenser for a few minutes, until I was satisfied the water was clear. There is no discernable difference compared to the OEM GE filter that came with the refrigerator. This appears to be a good value. The various certifications provided me the confidence that this filter has been properly tested to meet the standards for water purity.

I get so many requests for reviews that I typically just delete them. I thought I would take a second to write a word or two for this one, though. In the past, I have tried several off-brand versions of this filter and they invariably leak. This one doesn't, it was a good price, and it performs as expected. That's a win in my book!

I have to admit that the instructions were right on. After reading them, it was really simple to uninstall the old filter and install the new filter. If you well read the instructions you shouldn't have any problem. By the way, the instructions are under the three filters.....

Included with this 3 pack are the instructions, 3 expiration date labels, and a refrigerator magnet with the manufacturer’s information. I got these replacement filters for my GE refrigerator, mainly because GE’s replacements are so much more expensive than these. I have previously used Pureline filters many years ago on my old Samsung fridge and the filters worked reliably back then and this 3 pack is better priced than a single filter from GE. There are some slight differences in the filters, mainly in the top locking mechanism design but the filter does fit and lock into the filter slot with no issues and no leaks. There is a slight weight difference in the filters, with the GE feeling just slightly heavier, but I think it is mainly from the different top design. I have added some pics to compare the original GE with the new filter. After installation, it takes a few minutes to clear the water line of air and impurities, so you should run several cups of water through it until the flow is smooth and the water is clear and not cloudy. This is pretty normal with most filters. After a few minutes of clearing the line, the flow works as smoothly as before. According to the instructions, these last up to 6 months and come with a 3-month warranty. The performance specifications are pretty comparable to the GE filter and taste-wise I cannot tell the difference from the GE filters. The water tastes clean and clear with no chlorine taste or odor and seems to work pretty comparably to the more expensive GE OEM filter. 5 stars

I've had this water filter installed for a week and it works as advertised. I had reservatations due to the negative comments but the overwhelming positive reviews influenced my decision to buy. The installation wasn't as easy as the GE filter (which screwed on easily due to the longer tabs/lip) but after aligning the tabs and screwing it in as I pushed up I got it on after a couple of tries. You will know when it is on correctly installed as you will hear water flowing as the refrigerator fills the filter and pressurizes the system. The water tastes great and is nice and clear. Will buy this product again.

We are perfectly happy with them as far as installation. It went right in just like the brand name and it seems to be working fine with no weird taste or anything. I don’t really have a way of knowing how well it’s filtering the water so we’ll have to trust the certification process on that, but I did with the other filters too! Long story short, it is the same as the brand name ones we have been using but much cheaper. Worth it for having the same thing for less! If you are in doubt, like I was at first, try just one to test it out.

I was kinda nervous about ordering these since they were so much cheaper than the original GE filters, but after reading all the great reviews, I decided to pull the trigger..... so glad I did!! These filters work great!! They're a perfect replacement, no issues with fitting or leaking, water tastes great, and best of all, super affordable! Will continue to order these as long as I have this fridge!
