Mở sẵn lò nướng ở 350 độ F. Lót giấy nến vào khay nướng. Bí đỏ chà rửa thật sạch, giữ nguyên vỏ, cắt đôi, nạo bỏ ruột rồi cắt miếng vừa ăn. Làm nóng bơ cho tan chảy. Đường nâu để riêng 1 bát.
Xếp bí đỏ lên khay, dùng cọ quét đều 1/2 lượng bơ lên bí đỏ, rắc 1/2 lượng đường nâu và đem nướng khoảng 45 phút. Sau đó trở mặt, quét lượng bơ còn lại và rắc đường nâu còn lại cùng muối lên, nướng thêm 5 phút nữa là xong.
